Therapy that addresses the shame, burnout, and relationship friction that come with a neurodivergent mind.
ADHD therapy for adults focuses on understanding how your brain actually works and building strategies that fit it, not productivity hacks. CBT adapted for adult ADHD has improved executive function and emotional regulation in randomized controlled trials. Sessions also address the shame, burnout, and relationship friction that come with a neurodivergent mind. Christina (neurodivergent specialist) and Mo offer ADHD therapy at Inner Room, virtually across Ontario.
A quick call with Christina or Mo. You say what's going on, they say honestly whether ADHD therapy fits.
Your therapist maps how your ADHD actually shows up: work, relationships, energy, shame. This is where the work starts.
Same time, same therapist, from wherever you are in Ontario. Strategies that fit your brain, built week by week.
Both work with ADHD virtually across Ontario.
Christina has a specialty in working with neurodivergent and highly sensitive folks. She works with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and 2e adults, including late-diagnosed and self-diagnosed adults, using CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches.
Mo works with adults navigating ADHD, focusing on practical strategies for work, relationships, and daily life, using EFT, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and DBT. Before social work, Mo practiced law. That background shapes how he thinks about pressure, performance, and the slow cost of holding it together.
Evidence-based approaches adapted for neurodivergent minds.
Therapy for ADHD at Inner Room focuses on practical strategies for daily life, as well as the emotional weight that comes with ADHD: the shame, the burnout, the impact on relationships. We don't do productivity hacks. We do therapy that actually fits how your brain works.
Practical tools for focus, emotional regulation, and the thought patterns that keep you stuck. Adapted for how ADHD brains actually work.
Loosening the hold of shame and self-criticism, and building awareness of your actual capacity, energy, and needs.
Space to process what the diagnosis means, grieve what it explains, and rebuild self-trust.
No surprises. You know the cost before you book.
Insurance: Sessions with a Registered Social Worker (RSW) are covered by most extended health plans in Ontario. OHIP does not cover private therapy. You pay after each session and submit the receipt we provide for reimbursement. Read the insurance guide
Direct billing: We don't bill insurers directly, and here's what that means in practice: you pay after each session, we issue a detailed RSW receipt immediately, and most clients submit through their insurer's app in under two minutes. Reimbursement typically lands within days. Every plan is different, so we keep the paperwork exact and let your insurer do the rest.
Cancellation: 24 hours' notice required. Full session fee charged for late cancellations and no-shows.
