For the exam seasons that feel like freefall, the relationships that complicate everything, and the question of who you're becoming.
Therapy for students is private psychotherapy at $130 per session with any of four registered social workers. Campus counselling is free but often carries waitlists of weeks; a student-rate session can start this week. It covers the exam seasons that feel like freefall, the relationships that complicate everything, and the question of who you're becoming. All four therapists at Inner Room offer this rate, virtually across Ontario.
A quick call with any of our four therapists. No forms, no waitlist, no commitment.
What's bringing you in and what you want to be different. Your therapist explains how they work and you decide if it fits.

Who you are when you're not performing. What you actually want. Therapy as a place to figure that out without an audience.
No surprises. You know the cost before you book.
Insurance: Sessions with a Registered Social Worker (RSW) are covered by most student health plans and extended health plans in Ontario. OHIP does not cover private therapy. You pay after each session and submit the receipt we provide for reimbursement. Read the insurance guide
Direct billing: We don't bill insurers directly, and here's what that means in practice: you pay after each session, we issue a detailed RSW receipt immediately, and most clients submit through their insurer's app in under two minutes. Reimbursement typically lands within days. Every plan is different, so we keep the paperwork exact and let your insurer do the rest.
Cancellation: 24 hours' notice required. Full session fee charged for late cancellations and no-shows.
