Heart Comonos works to empower local people in the Cooksville-Mississauga area to work together to build a lively, healthy community for everyone. Heart Comonos is excited to host FREE mental health therapy for the Cooksville-Mississauga neighbourhood through a generous grant from the United Way of Greater Toronto.
Individual Therapy is a therapeutic process where you work one-on-one with a trained therapist in a confidential setting. It can happen in person, or online (depending on the therapist you choose). It’s a safe space where you can heal, navigate personal challenges, manage emotional pain or mental health conditions, and work toward your goals for growth. Individual therapy provides support and guidance to help you overcome anxiety, stress, and life’s everyday challenges, gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools to create lasting, meaningful change in your life.
Please note: Therapy will be prioritized for residents of Cooksville-Mississauga. You will be asked to supply your postal code upon registration.
This is the registration for the Individual Therapy: Meet one-on-one with a certified therapist with funding by Heart Comonos for a single (1) session to start your therapy journey. To ensure that all residences will have an opportunity to participate, we provide sessions based on a first-come-first-serve registration. Limited spots available.
If you would like to continue after the 1 session with your therapist, therapists are providing sliding scale options. To find out more you can contact our coordinator at info@innerroom.ca.
